Voter Need-to-know:

Election Day Nov. 8th!

This year’s ballot is lengthy for Detroiters. So, here are a few things we can do to prevent voter fatigue–and fill our whole ballot with confidence!
  • Research the candidates and proposals, then mark your choices on your sample ballot. Take it to the polls to use as your cheat sheet. Yes, you can copy your answers on your ballot!
  • Vote your ballot from bottom to top. The end of the ballot is the non-partisan portion which directly impacts your livelihood, your children, and your family.
  • Attend one of the MOSES town hall meetings (we will not tell you how to vote, only educate you on the issues raised) (see list below)
  • Vote at one of the satellite absentee early-voting sites. (see list below)
PLEASE DON’T VIOLATE YOUR OWN RIGHT TO VOTE AND BE HEARD! GO VOTE YOUR BALLOT FROM BOTTOM TO TOP!

Satellite Absentee Early-Voting Available NOW! (last day Nov. 7th)

We would like to thank Detroit City Clerk Janice Winfrey for heeding the call from MOSES to make the Rosa Parks Transit Center a Satellite Absentee Early-Voting site. She kept her commitment to us, and now we must keep ours. MOSES’ goal is to make this site one of the highest-turnout voting sites in Detroit. Will you help us?
