Rosa Parks 381 Mothers of Freedom Salute
On Mother's Day, May 11, 2008, we invite you to remember Rosa Parks, the Mother of the Civil Rights Movement, by giving bouquets of Freedom roses to the women who have influenced their own personal emancipation.
Edna Leak
Edna Leak is 90 years old. Since she became eligible to vote she never missed casting her ballot every time the polls opened, including primary and general elections. She took her young children into the voting booth and taught them the importance of voting to protect their freedom and rights.
